The Miracle of Allah exhibition by Jamelgems presents recently discovered gemstones bearing signs of Allah
These extraordinary and recently discovered gemstones form a unique collection of several miraculous finds, each revealing natural inclusion patterns that remarkably resemble the sacred name of Allah (God), as well as the names of the last two prophets in Arabic: Issa (Jesus) and Muhammed. These rare phenomena are considered profound signs and miracles from God. In this collection, we are pleased to present the first four discoveries, with more to be available soon, Insha Allah.

Allah’s Miracles Written in Stone
From a scientific standpoint, gemologists assert that the natural formation of legible words within gemstone inclusions is deemed impossible. Yet, rare and extraordinary phenomena have been documented: multiple gemstones of the same type have been discovered bearing Arabic inscriptions, including the sacred name Allah (God), the name of His final messenger Muhammad, andmost remarkably another stone inscribed with the name Issa (Jesus). These occurrences stand as profound wonders that transcend rational explanation.
This surprising discovery has attracted a lot of interest from observers and opened the door to new research on how gemstones form and what they might contain. It also shows that we can be surprised in many ways, and that even the most precious things can hold hidden secrets waiting to be found.

The Extraordinary Journey of a Gemstone Seeker
Passionate about gemstones, Jamel Hamdaoui is a certified gemologist and researcher with nearly nine years of experience in the evaluation and identification of gems. Driven by a sincere quest for rare and exceptional stones, he studied gemology in Geneva at the David Craft Institute, which is recognized by the Swiss Federation for Continuing Education and accredited by Gem-A London as an Accredited Teaching Centre (ATC) and a Gem-A Approved Practical Provider (GAPP) for both Foundation and Diploma levels. It was during this rigorous training that he acquired the expertise necessary to embark on an extraordinary journey: the discovery of some of the rarest and most unique gemstones in the world.

This incredible collection of stones was discovered in India. Among them were natural inclusions bearing Arabic inscriptions, revealing the name of Allah, as well as the names of the last two prophets: Issa (Jesus) and Muhammad.
“What’s even more astonishing,” Jamel marvels, “is that the sellers, originally from India and perhaps not Muslim—or even able to read Arabic—were completely unaware of the presence of such exceptional gemstones in their lots.”
By the mercy of God, InshaAllah, I wish to share these miracles with everyone!
From the extraction of gemstones in the mines, to the long hours spent by lapidaries cutting, shaping, and polishing them — not to mention the merchants who, like gemologist Jamel, have experience in gem identification—no one realized they were in possession of true wonders.
What’s more, Jamel adds, these inclusions could have been damaged during polishing, cutting, or even during the extraction process itself. That, in itself, is a true miracle! We believe these discoveries are a sign of God’s mercy, and what we are about to present marks the beginning of a series of natural findings — each one just as incredible as the last.
Miracle n°1 - The Name Allah

We begin our visual journey with this unique gem, bearing the sacred name of Allah (God). This first miracle opens the way to an astonishing experience where natural beauty and miracle intertwine, inviting everyone to reflect on the wonders of God’s creation.
This precious stone, called “Moss Agate,” is prized for jewelry and collections. There are many varieties of agate worldwide; this one formed in cavities within volcanic rocks. The term “Moss” refers to the green, fibrous structures created by visible chlorite inclusions. These inclusions are visible to the naked eye, resembling plant moss in shape and green color against a pristine white background. This stone comes from one of the most renowned deposits in the world for this type of gem.
Weighing 88 carats and cut en cabochon, it measures 54 by 34 mm, with a fine thickness carefully balanced to suit its weight. Its translucent nature offers a breathtaking display of light and color when illuminated by a light source.

Spectacle of Light
The names miraculously inscribed in these translucent gems become clearly visible when light passes through them. Depending on whether the light is warm or cool, and influenced by the surrounding environment or nearby colors, the appearance of the stones can shift — creating a unique and magnificent display of light and color.

Miracle n°2 - The Name Muhammad

Following the discovery of the first gemstone bearing the name “Allah,” we invite you to contemplate another marvel from our collection. In this section, we present the second unique gemstone, bearing the name “Muhammad” in Arabic.
Note that the last letter “د” (d) is beautifully calligraphed over the penultimate letter of the name Muhammad.
Weighing 70.70 carats, it is cabochon-cut and measures 49 mm by 34 mm, with a slight thickness to balance the surface and weight. This stone is yet another testament to the magnificence of divine creation. We hope this presentation will allow you to fully appreciate the depth of these exceptional discoveries.

Miracle n°3 - The Name Muhammad

After admiring the first gem bearing the inscription Allah and the second gem displaying the name Muhammad, we present to you an equally exceptional third gem, also bearing the name Muhammad.
Weighing 71.32 carats and cut en cabochon, this gem measures 50 millimeters by 31 millimeters, with a slight thickness that favors a large surface area. It also stands out for its translucency, offering a dazzling display of lights and colors when exposed to a light source.

Miracle n°4 - The Name Issa / Jesus

Finally, we present this last precious stone, as exceptional as the previous ones, bearing the name Issa (Jesus).
Weighing 46.90 carats and cut en cabochon, this gem measures 38 millimeters by 28 millimeters. It is also notable for its translucency, offering a dazzling display of light and color when exposed to a light source. This miracle from God is extraordinary, as the name Jesus is mentioned in many major religions.
